Tirando, a free-stroking method, involves plucking the strings in a way that the fingers don't rest on the adjacent strings, allowing for fluid and dynamic playing. Apoyando, also known as rest stroke, directs the finger to rest on the next string, creating a more forceful and pronounced sound.
Left-hand posture in guitar playing is crucial for both comfort and technique. It involves positioning the hand so that the fingers can easily access the fretboard, with the thumb resting at the back of the neck. This posture allows for efficient finger movement, reducing strain and improving precision in fretting notes. Proper left-hand posture is essential for playing complex chords and fast passages smoothly.
